About Us

Tom’s Seafood and Specialties has been a real treasure in Lakewood since 1998. When Maggie and Apos Kourakis learned that the old owners were ready to begin their next adventure, they immediately knew that taking over the market was the next chapter in their book.

Maggie and Apos are geoscientists with a passion for great food who were drawn to Colorado for the opportunities and adventures that the Rockies effortlessly provide. They discovered Tom’s while looking for quality seafood in the area. Their family was immediately hooked – even their 3-year-old, Zoey, has always been excited to grab her favorite treat, smoked salmon, every time they stopped by for dinner. They have been regulars for a few years, and they are excited to be the new owners.
